DesignPoint Senior Living Project Selected as a Finalist

In 2015, Watermark Communities engaged DesignPoint on an extensive renovation project for a senior living community in Pella, IA. The project was unveiled in May 2016 to much fanfare by the residents, their families and the Watermark staff. Soon after the project was submitted to Environments for Aging magazine and selected as a finalist (click to see list of finalists).

Environments for Aging Magazine is a leading industry magazine that covers current obstacles and solutions in the design of senior environments, how to implement cost-effective design solutions, the future of senior living, and much more.

All submissions were reviewed and evaluated by industry experts appointed by SAGE, The Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments, who narrowed the list down to 10 projects that were then opened for reader voting online.
