This global chemical company, Avantor Performance Materials (formerly Mallinckrodt Baker), moved their world headquarters into two floors of a vacant Class-A office building with fantastic golf course views. The design objective was to upgrade from their existing offices, create a modern interior environment to reflect their new corporate culture, and help attract and retain a highly qualified staff. The design of the new headquarters moved many of the current employees from traditional hard-walled offices to an open plan layout. The new private offices offer lots of glass to allow the natural light to reach well into the interior. Both open and closed collaborative areas were created to support the new work environment. Other amenities include several café areas and a workout facility complete with locker rooms and shower facilities.
