Radisson Hotel

This project was done at a time when Radisson was reinventing itself and had established some new room types that were incorporated into this design. The owner was doing his first full-service hotel and asked DesignPoint to incorporate Radisson standards along with his desire for a luxury interior. The gold-leaf dome, surrounded by custom woods and veneers, set the tone for the lobby and other areas of the hotel. All of the hotel furnishings were procured through the services of DesignPoint. + Read More

The design of the hotel was a challenge for the architectural team of William Tabler, NYC, who had to develop a very efficient floor plan to fit a relatively small lot.  The hotel was completed with 117 guestrooms, ten of them multi-room king suites with marble bathrooms.

The hotel design included several meeting rooms and a full banquet room with pre-function area totaling 3200 SF.  A sport theme restaurant was also included in the design that included a bar lounge and dining area.  A well-appointed fitness center was included on an upper floor.

The hotel is located off the New Jersey Turnpike within eight miles of the Newark Liberty International Airport, which was a key reason the location was chosen by the owner/management company.
