This Eastern Pennsylvania home was inspired by our client’s love of the American West and great wines. The architectural design of the home captured the western theme, and it was our task to carry the design through the vast expanses of space. The wine room, which is at the center of the home, allows you to view the client’s fabulous 2,000 bottle collection, displayed in a controlled environment. Enter the great room and see the 30’ high stone fireplace, western-themed artwork and custom furnishings. One can’t help but to think they’ve been transported to the western United States.
The kitchen and family room are joined by a central fireplace. The custom furniture and select leathers complete the more intimate family living space. The kitchen’s mahogany cabinets, copper hood and rustic beams are offset by the intricate tile design. The designers worked the tile pattern on the floor and installers transferred it to the back-splash.
The design and construction was a three year process, but the modern elements and old world craftsmanship came together evoking the character of the American West.
