Napa Senior Living Opens Sales Office with DesignPoint’s Help
August 15, 2019
DesignPoint is a trusted partner to Watermark Communities in both designing new interiors as well as remodeling existing ones. For the last 2 years, DesignPoint has been working with Watermark on one of their newest communities – Napa Senior Living in Napa Valley, CA.
While the project is still in progress, one important aspect of the job has been completed. Napa Senior Living opened a sales office to start pre-selling residences. The pre-selling phase is important for the project. DesignPoint Senior Designer Kathleen Sportelli, the lead designer on the project, explains, “The sales office is the first touch and experience that a potential resident has with the community. The interior must reinforce Watermark’s brand, client experience, and cast the vision for a senior’s ideal retirement lifestyle.” The sales office is located in a retail space approximately 2 miles from the future senior living site and was recently setup by DP interior designer Jennifer Fronheiser. It includes a reception area, meeting spaces, and features many of the fine touches and finishes that will adorn the new community. Fronheiser noted “There are private meeting areas in the sales office that allow individuals and families to privately discuss situations. This is important because moving into a senior living community is a life-changing decision.”
Slated to open in 2020, the 200,000 SF community is located on 6 acres on the grounds of Justin-Siena High School, a private catholic academy. The project is designed to create a contemporary, senior living community full of activity and intergenerational engagement. The 173-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community will provide care to Napa’s aging population in an amenity-laden building with ample outdoor spaces. Of the proposed 173 units, 80 are designated as Independent Living apartments, 71 Assisted Living units for residents who require assistance with their activities of daily living, and the remaining 22 units are designated for Memory Care. Many suites will offer floor-to-ceiling windows with a décor of modern farmhouse aesthetics to blend with the countryside. The common spaces will include a theatre and lounge areas that will seamlessly embody indoor-outdoor California living. The dining is considered to be destination dining and include seasonal, healthy delicious cuisine offered in three dining options include formal dining, casual European café, and bistro-style restaurant.
Napa Valley Senior Living is located at 4055 Solano Avenue in Napa Valley, California.
