DesignPoint Appreciates Its Summer Interns

Our interns were a great help for us this summer, and we thank them for the talent, skills, and enthusiasm they brought to the firm every day.  We wish them well as they return to school to continue their education in Interior Design.   

Paige Bechtle, graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelor degree in Interior Architecture and a minor in Photography. Paige will be spending her next two years pursuing a Masters of Interior Architecture, and working part-time for DesignPoint honing her skills in interior design at the same time she’s attending college. Upon graduating, Paige received the Edward Gayeski medal honor for Excellence in Design. At school she lends her time as Co-President of the Marywood IIDA chapter and as a graduate assistant, to further extend herself within the architecture building. Outside of school, Paige uses photography as an additional design outlet, in capturing weddings, events, portraits, products, and of course; interiors.

Sophia Le, graduated from Northampton Community College with an Associate degree of Applied Science in Interior Design. As she pursed her degree, she worked part time at DesignPoint Inc., and will continue to further her education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design to graduate in 2021. During her experience at DesignPoint, Sophia believes she made positive connections within the office and with sales reps she has come to know. She credits her confidence and positivity about this field to DesignPoint, through involvement in office functions, material selections, project advice, and helping to always stimulate a positive work environment.

Alyssa Lopez, is a student at Marywood University pursuing a Bachelor of Interior Architecture and plans to minor in Psychology. Alyssa is starting her sophomore year and will be in the graduating class of 2022. She has been nominated to be a member of The Honor Society of Leadership and Success. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting and sculpting.
