DesignPoint Designs the Interiors for a New Restaurant

December 19, 2019

In an ideal location on Hamilton Boulevard across from the newly developed Hamilton Crossings in Lower Macungie, restaurateur Jeff Virojanapa is converting a former 11,000 SF real estate office building into a stylish modern restaurant. The property is undergoing transformation from office space to an upscale restaurant by Jeff and his family who also own White Orchids Thai Cuisine restaurant at the Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley, PA.

Notch Modern Kitchen & Bar will focus on American cuisine with Asian fusion influences. The interior of the restaurant, designed by DesignPoint Interiors will have a casual and modern hip feel. The building’s rustic history will be on display featuring exposed brick along with the upscale elegance of a featured wine wall. Henry Delvecchio, who along with Cassidy Moran led the design team for DesignPoint said, “a feature of the restaurant will be a chef’s table with direct visibility to the kitchen to offer parties of eight with a personalized culinary experience”. The restaurant will have a full “bar-in-the-round” as well as large outdoor dining areas. A newly constructed covered patio extends over the front hill, offering a unique outdoor experience with a portion open to the night sky under a pergola. The second floor will feature private dining for parties up to 30 guests.

Notch Modern Kitchen & Bar, scheduled to open in August 2019 will be two-stories and accommodate 200 guests for lunch and dinner. Alloy5 was the architectural firm and Boyle Construction managed the construction renovations.
